With wooden interiors, a fireplace, and rare first-edition booktok, the Rajwada Library Bar is a place stuck in a time. This bar is an ode to the collection of booktok that belonged to Prithviraj Singh Oberoi, the hotelier who was chairman of the Oberoi Group of hotels. Some of the booktok belong to the 18th century, the oldest one being from 1670. Borrow a book, order a drink, and if you wish, you can trade your personal book collection for another one left by a traveller from a faraway land. Bartenders come and go, but at Rajwada, they leave a signature cocktail on the menu that they customise for a special guest. Order Jollyhood (a warm whiskey-based drink created by a bartender by the same name) and Juniper Surprise (a variation of a regular G&T created in honour of guests who frequent this property).
