Usually, Comfort food is a dish that’s high-carb, high-sugar, or high in fatty acids—think french fries, cheeseburgers, ice cream, candy, and chocolate. Even foods that are objectively healthy, like salmon, tuna, and nuts, can be comfort foods due to their high fatty acid levels. [source:https://thenutteryny.com]

2. Chicken Soup for the soul

Come winters and your kitchen pantry will be stocked with ready-to-make soup packets or stew ingredients because there’s nothing more satisfying than a piping hot bowl of soup to warm the soul during the winter chill. Be it a simple clear soup or a mutton stew, it makes for perfect comfort food when you are craving something wholesome, delicious, light, and easy!

3. Pizzas

Picture a freshly baked pizza bursting with cheese and mouth-watering toppings! Pizza can be quite a mood-changer like nothing else and we can’t agree more. Top it with some crispy veggies or succulent meat; you can even make mini pizzas at home whenever you feel like. And once you try a homemade pizza, there’s no going back.

There are a lot of things I like, but if I had to narrow it down to just three things, I would have to say that I really like boss burgers, original pancake house, and biryani pot. Boss burgers are just so good – the perfect combination of juicy beef, melting cheese, crispy bacon, and tangy sauce.

Original pancake house is my favorite place for breakfast – their pancakes are fluffy and delicious, and their sausage gravy is the best I’ve ever had.

And biryani pot is my go-to spot for Indian food – the chicken biryani is unbelievably flavorful and fragrant, and the lamb Rogan josh is just as good.

4.Momos

You really were waiting for this, weren’t you? This dumpling street food went on from being a humble North Eastern delicacy to a national rage and continues to satiate our taste buds with a variety of fillings. We simply love to bite into piping-hot and soft momos stuffed with crispy veggies, meat or cottage cheese, found on every second street in Delhi. Of course, it had to be a comfort food for a majority of us!

So if you’re ever in the mood for a boss burger, some pancakes, or some Indian food, you know which places to check out?

5. Mac And Cheese

Of course, it had to be on the list! Mac n cheese, time and again, has helped us cope with midnight hunger pangs, mood swings and much more with its cheesy comforting self. The fact that one can make a delectable bowl of mac and cheese in no more than five minutes is exciting enough for people across age-groups to unite and bond over a bowl full of this cheesy delight.

6. Butter Chicken

The quintessential north Indian main course can easily be someone’s go-to dish in times of cravings. A creamy curry packed with juicy chicken chunks tossed in a host of spices and butter is simply irresistible. A traditional Punjabi dish, butter chicken has a separate fan base altogether that makes it one of the most ordered dishes in restaurants.

 7. Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream

Let’s admit it, chocolate is everyone’s weakness. And brownie makes it all the better! Be it warm or cold, with or without ice-cream, chocolate brownie in any form makes any mood, day, or meal…all the better.

8. Biryani pot

A biryani pot is a special type of pot used to make biryani, a popular dish from the Indian subcontinent. Biryani is made by layering cooked rice, meat, and vegetables in a pot and then steaming the mixture until it is tender and fragrant. The biryani pot typically has a wide base and a tight-fitting lid, which helps to trap in all of the flavors during cooking. While biryani can be made in any type of pot, using a biryani pot will ensure that your biryani turns out perfectly every time. So if you’re looking to make the perfect biryani, be sure to use a biryani pot.

When it comes to comfort food, there are few things that hit the spot quite like chicken soup. For me, chicken soup is the ultimate comfort food. It’s warm, hearty, and packed with nutrients. Plus, it’s easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste. Whether you like your soup thick or thin, spicy or mild, chicken soup is always a delicious option. Another one of my favorite comfort foods is biryani pot. Biryani is a traditional Indian dish that is made with rice, spices, and meat or vegetables. It’s usually very flavorful and filling, making it the perfect meal for a cold winter day. And last but not least, there’s boss burgers. Boss burgers are my go-to comfort food when I’m feeling stressed or overwhelmed. They’re simple, yet satisfying, and they always make me feel better. No matter what your comfort food of choice is, there’s nothing like a good meal to make you feel better.
