8 new restaurants to try in Mumbai

There’s a new Grecian sanctuary in the heart of Mumbai. Praia prides itself on its sprawling alfresco space—a whopping 15,000sqft at Atria Mall’s rooftop, done up with palm trees and thatched cabanas. All that, against the infinite Mumbai skyline. A flavour-forward menu flirts with the palate with dishes such as the charred Peruvian spiced chicken with aji verde sauce, a savoury iteration of baklava, katsu curry pizza and more. The alcohol is as varied as the food, with everything from coffee-cranberry cocktails to a robust wine bar with classic as well as boutique labels.

All Saints is for the eclectic and indecisive: from an exhaustive food menu to a range of cocktails, there’s something for everyone here. Potted greenery adds a pop of colour to the ivory interiors here, while the plush seating is ideal to sink in and create a cosy atmosphere. The starter menu is a mix of cuisines and flavours, with comforting classics such as lotus stem chips, pad Thai noodles and avocado tempura sushi. The main course is mainly Indian, with dishes such as grilled rawas and butter chicken. The highlight? Three separate bars with a designated bar for shots.
